(आशुतोष शर्मा) नैनीताल।<\/strong> प्रदेश में नशे के सौदागरों को सलाह को पीछे डालने के लिए प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा में ड्रग्स फ्री देवभूमि के तहत नशे के खिलाफ अभियान चल रहा है। इसके तहत नैनीताल के वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक (SSP) प्रहलाद नारायण मीणा के नेतृत्व में पुलिस विभाग ने जनपद को नशामुक्त बनाने की दिशा में एक और बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। नए साल के जश्न के दौरान अवैध मादक पदार्थों की तस्करी करने वाले तत्वों पर कड़ी नजर रखते हुए पुलिस ने सघन चेकिंग अभियान चलाया और तस्करों के मंसूबों को नाकाम किया।<\/p>\n

पुलिस अधीक्षक क्राइम डॉ. जगदीश चंद्रा के मार्गदर्शन और क्षेत्राधिकारी भवाली श्री सुमित पांडेय के निर्देशन में, थानाध्यक्ष मुक्तेश्वर कमित जोशी के नेतृत्व में 30 दिसंबर 2024 को पुलिस ने मुक्तेश्वर थाना क्षेत्र के कालापातल से ज़स्टा रिज़ॉर्ट जाने वाले मार्ग पर चेकिंग अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान मोटरसाइकिल संख्या UK04L 9610 पर सवार तीन संदिग्ध युवकों को रोककर जब उनकी तलाशी ली गई, तो उनके पास से कुल 01 किलो 643 ग्राम अवैध चरस बरामद हुई।<\/p>\n
