बदायूं।<\/strong> जनपद के कादरचौक थाना क्षेत्र में हुए सनसनीखेज दोहरे हत्याकांड के मुख्य आरोपी वीर सिंह को पुलिस ने मंगलवार रात करीब 8 बजे मुठभेड़ के बाद गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस के अनुसार घेराबंदी के दौरान आरोपी ने पुलिस टीम पर फायरिंग कर दी, जिसके जवाब में की गई आत्मरक्षार्थ कार्रवाई में उसके दोनों पैरों में गोली लगी। मुठभेड़ में एक सिपाही भी घायल हुआ। दोनों घायलों को उपचार के लिए जिला अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है।<\/p>\n

पुलिस के मुताबिक, वीर सिंह अपनी बहन संतोषी और भांजे आकाश की हत्या के मामले में वांछित चल रहा था। बीते बुधवार की रात शराब के नशे में हुए विवाद के बाद उसने तमंचे से दोनों पर ताबड़तोड़ गोलियां चला दी थीं। गोली लगने से आकाश की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई थी, जबकि गंभीर रूप से घायल संतोषी को पहले राजकीय मेडिकल कॉलेज बदायूं और बाद में सैफई मेडिकल कॉलेज रेफर किया गया, जहां उपचार के दौरान उनकी भी मृत्यु हो गई।<\/p>\n

वहीं इस दोहरे हत्याकांड के बाद मृतका संतोषी के दामाद मनोज, निवासी गोपालपुर, थाना सहावर जिला कासगंज की तहरीर पर थाना कादरचौक में हत्या सहित अन्य धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया था। घटना के बाद से आरोपी फरार था और उसकी गिरफ्तारी के लिए पुलिस की कई टीमें लगातार संभावित ठिकानों पर दबिश दे रही थीं।<\/p>\n

मंगलवार को पुलिस को सूचना मिली कि आरोपी क्षेत्र में मौजूद है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस ने घेराबंदी की, लेकिन खुद को घिरता देख वीर सिंह ने पुलिस टीम पर फायरिंग शुरू कर दी। पुलिस ने आत्मरक्षा में जवाबी कार्रवाई की, जिसमें आरोपी के दोनों पैरों में गोली लगी। इसके बाद उसे मौके से गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।\"\" \"\"<\/p>\n

वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक अंकिता शर्मा ने बताया कि आरोपी के कब्जे से एक तमंचा और कारतूस बरामद किए गए हैं। घायल आरोपी और घायल सिपाही का जिला अस्पताल में उपचार चल रहा है। पुलिस मामले में आरोपी से पूछताछ कर रही है तथा अग्रिम विधिक कार्रवाई जारी है।<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
