जौनपुर।<\/strong> नगर कोतवाली पुलिस ने अवैध रूप से दोहरा (तंबाकू उत्पाद) के निर्माण और कारोबार के खिलाफ बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए दो सगे भाइयों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने उनके कब्जे से करीब दो कुंतल अवैध दोहरा बरामद किया है। बरामद माल का नमूना जांच के लिए खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग को भेज दिया गया है।<\/p>\n

 अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर नगर आयुष श्रीवास्तव ने बताया कि अपराध एवं अवैध कारोबार के विरुद्ध चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत मंगलवार को नगर कोतवाली पुलिस को यह सफलता मिली। प्रभारी निरीक्षक त्रिवेणी सिंह के नेतृत्व में पुलिस टीम ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर शकरमंडी मोहल्ले में एक बर्तन के दुकान में छापेमारी की।<\/p>\n

छापेमारी के दौरान पुलिस ने मौके से अवैध दोहरा का निर्माण और बिक्री कर रहे दो सगे भाइयों पवन साहू और विवेक साहू को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। दोनों आरोपी नगर कोतवाली क्षेत्र के मोहल्ला बड़ी मस्जिद के निवासी बताए गए हैं। तलाशी के दौरान पुलिस ने उनके पास से लगभग दो कुंतल अवैध दोहरा बरामद किया।<\/p>\n

पुलिस के अनुसार बरामद दोहरा का निर्माण बिना वैध अनुमति और निर्धारित मानकों के विपरीत किया जा रहा था। आशंका है कि यह सामग्री शहर और आसपास के क्षेत्रों में सप्लाई की जा रही थी। कार्रवाई के बाद पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के विरुद्ध संबंधित धाराओं में मुकदमा दर्ज कर आवश्यक विधिक कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।<\/p>\n

खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग को भी मामले की सूचना दी गई है। बरामद दोहरा का नमूना जांच के लिए भेजा गया है, ताकि इसकी गुणवत्ता और मानव स्वास्थ्य पर पड़ने वाले प्रभावों की जांच की जा सके। जांच रिपोर्ट आने के बाद आरोपियों पर अन्य धाराएं भी बढ़ाई जा सकती हैं।<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
