जौनपुर।<\/strong> वीर बहादुर सिंह पूर्वांचल विश्वविद्यालय जौनपुर के फैकल्टी ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज अंतर्गत एच.आर.डी. विभाग के शोध छात्र ऋत्विक त्रिपाठी ने इंडिया ओपन इंटरनेशनल कराटे चैंपियनशिप सीरीज–2 में शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए सीनियर वर्ग के -67 किलोग्राम भार वर्ग में सिल्वर मेडल प्राप्त कर विश्वविद्यालय एवं जनपद का गौरव बढ़ाया है।<\/p>\n

यह प्रतिष्ठित चैंपियनशिप दिल्ली के तालकटोरा स्टेडियम में आयोजित की गई थी, जिसमें देश-विदेश के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ियों ने भाग लिया। प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन धामिकाकाई शीतो-रियु इंटरनेशनल संस्था द्वारा किया गया था, जो पारंपरिक कराटे की अनुशासित, तकनीकी एवं आत्मरक्षा आधारित शैली के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर जानी जाती है। यह संस्था युवाओं में आत्मविश्वास, संयम, मानसिक दृढ़ता तथा शारीरिक क्षमता के विकास हेतु निरंतर कार्य कर रही है।<\/p>\n

ऋत्विक त्रिपाठी की इस उपलब्धि पर फैकल्टी ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज के संकायाध्यक्ष, प्रो. अविनाश डी. पाथर्डीकर ने प्रसन्नता व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि विद्यार्थियों की ऐसी उपलब्धियां विश्वविद्यालय की शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता के साथ-साथ खेल एवं व्यक्तित्व विकास की सशक्त परंपरा को भी प्रदर्शित करती हैं। उन्होंने ऋत्विक को बधाई देते हुए उनके उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की।<\/p>\n
