जौनपुर ।<\/strong>शाहगंज पुलिस को बड़ी सफलता मिली है। पुलिस ने शादी का झांसा देकर दुष्कर्म करने के मामले में एक आरोपी को शनिवार को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है।<\/p>\n

पुलिस के अनुसार गौराबादशाहपुर की रहने वाली एक महिला शाहगंज में खुटहन रोड स्थित वीरू उर्फ शशांक कुमार के यहां किराये पर रहती थी। आरोप है कि इसी दौरान शशांक ने शादी का झांसा देकर महिला के साथ कई बार संबंध बनाए और करीब दो साल तक उसे अंबेडकर नगर में अपने साथ रखा। बाद में उसने महिला को अपने साथ रखने से इनकार कर दिया। पीड़िता की शिकायत पर थाना शाहगंज में मुकदमा संख्या 0053\/2026 धारा 69 व 89 भारतीय न्याय संहिता 2023 के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया था।<\/p>\n

मामले की जांच के दौरान शनिवार को उपनिरीक्षक ओम प्रकाश पांडेय अपनी टीम के साथ खुटहन रोड क्षेत्र में दबिश देकर आरोपी वीरू उर्फ शशांक कुमार पुत्र शिव प्रसाद निवासी खुटहन रोड, शाहगंज को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस ने आरोपी को हिरासत में लेकर आगे की विधिक कार्रवाई शुरू कर दी है।<\/p>\n
