सहरसा जिले के सिमरी बख्तियारपुर विधानसभा क्षेत्र के सलखुआ प्रखंड में पहले चरण से ही सुबह सात बजे मतदान शुरू होते ही विभिन्न बूथों पर मतदाताओं की लंबी कतारें दिखीं। ठंड भरी सुबह के बावजूद महिलाओं, युवाओं और बुजुर्गों में उत्साह देखते ही बन रहा था। मतदान केंद्रों पर पहुंचते ही लोग अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग करने को लेकर उत्साहित दिखे।\"\"<\/p>\n

मध्य विद्यालय सलखुआ स्थित मतदान केंद्र संख्या 367 पर कुल 1100 में से सुबह 9:35 बजे तक 249 मतदाताओं (महिला-पुरुष) ने वोट डाला। वहीं उर्दू मध्य विद्यालय सलखुआ के बूथ संख्या 362 पर कुल 806 मतदाताओं में से 9:18 बजे तक 218 मतदाता मतदान कर चुके थे।<\/p>\n

दोनों केंद्रों पर सुबह से ही प्रशासन की ओर से कड़ी सुरक्षा व्यवस्था तैनात रही। सुरक्षाबलों की निगरानी में शांतिपूर्ण माहौल में मतदान जारी है। अधिकारी लगातार बूथों का निरीक्षण कर व्यवस्था का जायजा ले रहे हैं।<\/p>\n
