आजमगढ़ ।<\/strong> 27 अक्टूबर को समय थाना अतरौलिया में डायल–112 पर नियुक्त हेड कांस्टेबल वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह यादव (पीएनओ-970898427), छठ पूजा ड्यूटी पूर्ण कर थाना परिसर लौटे। बैरक में पहुंचने के उपरांत अचानक उनकी तबीयत बिगड़ गई।\"\"<\/p>\n

थाना पर मौजूद अधिकारीगण एवं कर्मचारियों द्वारा तत्काल सीपीआर (CPR) दिए जाने के साथ-साथ उन्हें एंबुलेंस के माध्यम से 100 शैय्या चिकित्सालय, अतरौलिया ले जाया गया, जहाँ डॉक्टरों द्वारा परीक्षण उपरांत उन्हें मृत घोषित किया गया।<\/p>\n

प्रथम दृष्टया डॉक्टरों द्वारा मृत्यु का कारण हृदयाघात (हार्ट अटैक) बताया गया। दिवंगत हेड कांस्टेबल वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह यादव, पुत्र विश्वनाथ यादव, निवासी ग्राम देउवापुर, थाना धानापुर, जनपद चंदौली के निवासी थे। घटना की सूचना मृतक के परिजनों को सूचित कर दिया गया। 28 अक्टूबर को दिवंगत हेड कांस्टेबल वीरेंद्र प्रताप सिंह यादव को श्रद्धांजलि पुलिस लाइन, जनपद आज़मगढ़ में दी गई, जिसमें अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक ग्रामीण चिराग जैन, अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर मधुबन कुमार सिंह, अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक यातायात विवेक त्रिपाठी, क्षेत्राधिकारी नगर शुभम तोदी, क्षेत्राधिकारी सदर आस्था जायसवाल सहित पुलिस विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी\/कर्मचारीगण उपस्थित रहे।<\/p>\n
