वीर बहादुर सिंह पूर्वांचल विश्वविद्यालय के व्यावसायिक अर्थशास्त्र एवं व्यावसाय प्रबंध विभाग द्वारा प्री-कन्वोकेशन व्याख्यान माला श्रृंखला के अंतर्गत विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया गया। इस विशेष सत्र में मुख्य वक्ता के रूप में प्रो. श्रीवर्धन पाठक, विभागाध्यक्ष एवं संकायाध्यक्ष, वाणिज्य एवं प्रबंधन संकाय, दीनदयाल उपाध्याय विश्वविद्यालय, गोरखपुर ने अपनी बात रखी।<\/p>\n

मुख्य विषय “इमर्जिंग ट्रेंड्स इन कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस: इश्यूज एंड चैलेंजेज़” पर अपने व्याख्यान में प्रो. श्रीवर्धन पाठक ने छात्रों को कॉरपोरेट गवर्नेंस के विभिन्न पहलुओं जैसे हितधारकों के बीच संतुलन, जवाबदेही, पारदर्शिता, निदेशक मंडल की भूमिका एवं जोखिम प्रबंधन पर गहन जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि एक मजबूत शासन प्रणाली निवेशकों के बीच विश्वास बनाती है और कंपनी के दीर्घकालिक विकास तथा लाभप्रदता को सुनिश्चित करती है।<\/p>\n

कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत सरस्वती वंदना से हुई। मुख्य अतिथि का स्वागत विभागाध्यक्ष, व्यावसायिक अर्थशास्त्र प्रो. मानस पांडे ने किया। कार्यक्रम में डॉ. आशुतोष सिंह, समन्वयक (बी.कॉम ऑनर्स) ने व्यावसायिक नैतिक आचरण पर प्रकाश डालते हुए कहा कि यदि कंपनियां उच्च नैतिक मानकों और कानूनी अनुपालन को अपनाती हैं, तो वे न केवल दंड से बचती हैं बल्कि अपनी प्रतिष्ठा को भी मजबूत करती हैं।<\/p>\n
