जिले के दुर्गागंज थाना क्षेत्र के अर्जुनपुर गांव निवासी 40 वर्षीय जिलजीत बिंद की गोवा में सर्पदंश से मृत्यु हो गई। जिलजीत जीविकोपार्जन के लिए गोवा में मजदूरी करते थे। तीन दिन पूर्व शौच के लिए निकलने के दौरान उन्हें एक जहरीले सांप ने काट लिया। उनका इलाज गोवा के एक अस्पताल में चल रहा था, लेकिन शुक्रवार को उनकी तबीयत अचानक बिगड़ गई और उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। इस दुखद समाचार ने उनके परिवार को गहरे सदमे में डाल दिया है।<\/p>\n

जिलजीत की पत्नी मनीषा और उनकी सात नाबालिग बेटियों का रो-रोकर बुरा हाल है। परिवार में कमाने वाला कोई और नहीं था, और जिलजीत ही एकमात्र आर्थिक सहारा थे। उनकी मृत्यु ने परिवार को अनाथ और असहाय छोड़ दिया है। परिवार की आर्थिक स्थिति अत्यंत दयनीय है, जिसके कारण स्थानीय निवासियों रमेश चंद्र बिंद और धीरज दुबे ने जिला प्रशासन से आर्थिक सहायता की मांग की है।<\/p>\n
